Premier Loto donates thousands of protection kits to combat Coronavirus

Premier Loto Malawi has donated thousands of essential protective items to hospitals and important institutions, in a bid to fight Coronavirus.

Premier Loto, Premier Bet and their charity wing Premier Projects organised the donation of PPE to the Immigration Office and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Blantyre.

Amongst the items were masks, gloves and hand sanitizers – items desperately needed by both facilities.

The Immigration Office in Blantyre is responsible for the border control of the nation.

They encounter many travelers on a daily basis.

Effective Friday, August 28 2020, Airtel Money fees when cashing out at an agent will be reduced by up to 50% from the Previous range of MK20 – MK12,500 to a new revised range of MK20 – MK7,000. In a press statement made available to The Maravi Post, Airtel Money Director Polycarp Ndekana that the move will enable Airtel Money Customers to transact at a cheaper cost and keep enjoying Airtel Money’s various services. Ndekana disclosed that the full price list will be released on Friday. “Airtel Money remains committed to enabling digital money transfers and payments to further increase financial inclusion in the country,” says Ndekana.
