Airtel Money on Thursday, August 27, 2020 announced a reduction of cash-out (withdrawal fees) from its agents by up to 50% in a bid to make its services more accessible and affordable for Malawians. Effective Friday, August 28 2020, Airtel Money fees when cashing out at an agent will be reduced by up to 50% from the Previous range of MK20 – MK12,500 to a new revised range of MK20 – MK7,000. In a press statement made available to The Maravi Post, Airtel Money Director Polycarp Ndekana that the move will enable Airtel Money Customers to transact at a cheaper cost and keep enjoying Airtel Money’s various services. Ndekana disclosed that the full price list will be released on Friday. “Airtel Money remains committed to enabling digital money transfers and payments to further increase financial inclusion in the country,” says Ndekana.
