Dowa Trading Centers To Have Piped Water Thanks To Rhema Institute for Development



The Rhema Institute for Development has embarked on a K60 million supply of prepaid piped water project in growing trade centres in Dowa district which will benefit over 500 households.

Executive Director for the organisation , Innocent Semu told Zodiak Online today, Wednesday that due to increased population growth in trade centers such as Dowa Turn-off, Chivala and Chimwaza, there is need to have safe piped water to help reduce distance and time that people spend to fetch water from boreholes.

Meanwhile, Dowa District Water Officer, Timothy Banda has hailed the Rhema Institute for Development for the initiative saying it has come timely as Dowa District has water problems due to hilly topography.
