Chilima Sends Back MIM Officials Over Poor Presentation

Vice President Saulosi Chilima sent back officials from Malawi Institute of Management (MIM) having felt that the institution did no prepare enough for its presentation on reforms it is undertaking.
Chilima was slated to meet MIM officials as part of his continued engagement with public entities to appreciate reforms and roadmaps at the institutions.
However, Chilima said the meeting did not proceed as MIM officials lacked a sense of preparedness in their presentation before he sent them back to prepare again.
He also described the presentation as the most uninspiring portrait of an organization since he resumed working on public sector reforms.
Chilima has since questioned the capabilities of the institution saying it is not demonstrating enough of what is expected of an institution meant to train public officers.
